e2//:ethical enterprises is an organisation that believes in ethical business, in making an honest profit and in having fun doing it all.
e2:// is an umbrella organisation which is primarily engaged in education, training, business mentoring and support for small businesses and organisations of all types. It involves a wide range of well-qualified people who, from time to time, come together to work on different projects.
It is run by Louise Wilde, who has been in business for longer than she cares to remember, and in the last few years has ceased working for large multi-national corporations, in order to pursue her career running her own businesses full-time.
"I have always believed in honesty in business. Matching my ethical beliefs with working in large multi-national companies was only challenged until it was proved to work. Why did it work? In the face of a naturally adversarial relationship - i.e. "you're selling me something so you're bound to be ripping me off" it took time and a great deal of work to prove that I and my company were trustworthy. By delivering what we promised, when we promised it, and by being honest about the inevitable problems that occur in any business relationship, we were able to work very successfully with our clients, delivering at least what they expected and often much more.
What we are able to develop is mutual trust and respect, sadly, a rare commodity these days.
It is also very important to understand from the outset what an ethical business is not: it is not a soft touch, or uncompetitive, or unassertive.
Ethical enterprises is the company I always wanted to run. It gives me an opportunity to share all that is creative, fun and exciting about business and combining that with a fundamental belief that honesty, value for money and excellent service to our clients is what creates success.
I hope that you will find what you need on this website. I am always open to ideas and suggestions so please do not hesitate to e-mail with comments on the work that we do, new ideas, opinions and anything else that you find interesting.
Please note that e2:// is starting a small business network, this is not planned to be a money making part of the business (or a monety losing part of the business!), rather it is intended to be a forum for networking: sharing ideas, solving problems and realising that you do belong to a great business community. You are not alone out there.
Remember that you can succeed, believe in yourself and go for it. Louise
Louise has worked with a wide range of companies from new start-ups to large corporations. During that time she has been responsible for the management of many different aspects of a number of businesses:
~IN MARKETING: she has been responsible for the planning and growth of a number of different companies in very diverse marketplaces.
~IN NEGOTIATION: she has successfully led very high value negotiations in large multi-national corporations, at the same time as designing and running courses for people who want to understand how to get a fair deal on their new car, washing machine or negotiate with their clients.
~IN DESIGN: she has worked as a graphic designer & layout artist, cartoonist, web-site designer and photographer and is fascinated by fractals (as one expression of where art meets maths). For more details of my design and photographic work please click here
~IN COMPUTING: she has worked both as a technician and marketeer, focusing on simplifying the mysticism that surrounds computers, to realise the benefits that they can offer. She can even be found wandering down Tottenham Court Road in London with a new client: buying the computer, taking it home, setting it up and teaching them how to use it!
~AS A TEACHER: she has worked as a lecturer and trainer in business and is currently working as a healing course tutor and workshop leader at the College of Psychic Studies, London.
~AS A HEALER: she is an accredited healer of the College of Psychic Studies in South Kensington and runs a small private practice.
